Retail Specialist – Guest Experience

About the role

As a Retail Specialist at Corallium, you will deliver an exceptional retail experience for guests, reflecting the attraction’s values of marine education, sustainability and immersive storytelling. You will greet visitors, provide product expertise, and support cross‑promotion of the attraction’s activities to enhance guest satisfaction and drive revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a warm, professional manner aligned with service standards.
• Assist guests with product inquiries and provide accurate, knowledgeable recommendations.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system, handling cash, card and digital payments.
• Actively cross‑sell and upsell retail products and the attraction’s wider experiences.
• Maintain a clean, organized, visually appealing retail space and ensure shelves are fully stocked.
• Monitor stock levels, report low inventory, and participate in stock counts and audits.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and process returns, exchanges and refunds per policy.
• Adhere to cash‑handling procedures, ensuring till accuracy at opening and closing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in retail operations, sales or customer service.
• Experience with inventory management, merchandising and point‑of‑sale systems.
• Strong communication, relationship management and problem‑solving abilities.
