Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will support the Finance & Accounts function of Nawras Power Company, handling day‑to‑day accounting, project cost recording, accounts payable, statutory and tax compliance, audit support, treasury coordination and reporting in line with IFRS, Saudi regulations and financing agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate entries in the ERP system and assist with monthly, quarterly and annual closes.
• Prepare reconciliations for general ledger, banks, advances, accruals and inter‑company balances.
• Track EPC invoices, construction expenditures and maintain project cost schedules against approved budgets.
• Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documents and coordinate payment batches with treasury.
• Support treasury activities including payment instructions, debt drawdown documentation and monitoring of bank facilities.
• Assist in the preparation of IFRS‑compliant financial statements and management reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project or construction accounting, preferably in power or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi VAT, IFRS and local regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to work with ERP systems and maintain robust financial controls.
