Senior Accountant – Luxury Resort (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

Equinox Resort Amaala is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the finance function as the luxury resort prepares for its 2026 opening. The role will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with Saudi regulations, and effective cost control to support the resort’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare timely and compliant financial statements in line with company policies, international accounting standards, and Saudi regulatory requirements.
• Maintain the general ledger, record all financial transactions accurately, and perform monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
• Ensure full compliance with KSA regulations, including ZATCA, VAT, and other statutory reporting obligations.
• Support the preparation and submission of tax filings within statutory deadlines.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, providing complete and accurate documentation.
• Monitor financial transactions, expenses, and cost controls to enhance operational efficiency.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights for informed decision‑making.
• Collaborate with operational departments for accurate cost allocation and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in hospitality or large‑scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian regulations, including VAT and ZATCA requirements.
