Senior Civil Technical Engineer (BIM)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Civil Technical Engineer with strong BIM expertise to lead the review and coordination of civil and structural designs for tower projects in Riyadh. The role involves ensuring design compliance, producing accurate shop and as‑built drawings, and supporting the construction team throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Review civil and structural design and shop drawings for towers, confirming compliance with approved intent and specifications.
• Prepare and coordinate civil/structural shop drawings, aligning them with the BIM‑coordinated model and site conditions.
• Develop and maintain as‑built drawings for record and handover.
• Generate and verify BOQ take‑offs to support procurement, tendering, and variation evaluation.
• Conduct technical and quality‑control reviews against the Saudi Building Code and international standards.
• Support BIM coordination for structural elements, ensuring clash‑free integration with architectural and MEP disciplines.
• Review vendor and subcontractor technical submittals, material approvals, and test certificates.
• Provide technical guidance to site civil engineers on complex design and construction issues.
• Participate in inspections, witness testing, and structural commissioning reviews.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in civil and structural engineering, preferably on tower or high‑rise projects.
• Proven expertise in BIM coordination and management.
• Strong knowledge of the Saudi Building Code and relevant international standards.
• Ability to produce accurate shop, as‑built drawings and BOQ calculations.
• Excellent technical review and problem‑solving skills.
