Senior Data Engineer

About the role

Devsinc is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that power analytics, data products, and AI/ML capabilities. You will work closely with Product, Business Intelligence, Data Science, and Engineering teams to deliver reliable, production‑ready datasets.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, validation, and delivery.
• Build, schedule, and orchestrate production‑grade workflows using Apache Airflow.
• Develop distributed processing jobs with Apache Spark and write reusable Python code for automation.
• Optimize complex SQL queries and implement Redis caching for high‑performance data access.
• Integrate data from APIs, relational databases, files, and third‑party sources while ensuring data quality and observability.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures, performance bottlenecks, and data‑quality issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or related field.
• 4‑6 years of professional experience in data engineering or a closely related role.
• Proven experience designing and operating production‑grade ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
