Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to lead advanced financial analysis, planning and performance monitoring for our manufacturing operations. The role focuses on cost efficiency, production performance and supporting management to optimise plant utilisation and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and long‑term financial planning aligned with production schedules and sales pipeline.
• Develop and maintain product costing models, perform variance analysis on material usage, labour efficiency and overhead absorption.
• Review purchase requisitions and orders, ensure correct expense allocation, monitor budget utilisation and prevent overruns.
• Track operational KPIs such as capacity utilisation, yield, scrap rates and downtime, partnering with plant, engineering and procurement teams.
• Build financial models for production scenarios, cost optimisation and pricing support, including sensitivity analysis on key cost drivers.
• Prepare monthly management and board reports that highlight operational performance, cost control and variance against budget.
• Monitor inventory levels (raw material, WIP, finished goods), analyse turnover and support working‑capital optimisation initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement of planning, costing and reporting tools within the ERP system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 4–6+ years of experience in FP&A or cost analysis within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in costing, budgeting and financial controls.
