Financial Accounting Manager

About the role

The Financial Accounting Manager will lead the accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and robust internal controls. This role safeguards the company’s financial integrity, supports audit processes, and aligns accounting activities with manufacturing and inventory operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and ensure timely period‑end closing.
• Manage cost of sales, inventory valuation, margins and standard costing, including variance analysis.
• Direct the full lifecycle of fixed assets, from capitalization to disposal, and control capital work‑in‑progress.
• Ensure full compliance with Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) requirements, including VAT and withholding tax filings.
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, chart of accounts and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Coordinate plant accounting, inventory counts and integration of production data with financial records.
• Lead external audit engagements, address audit findings and reinforce control environments.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Significant experience in financial accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Saudi tax regulations (ZATCA, VAT, WHT).
• Proven ability to manage complex accounting processes and lead a team.
