Senior IT Service & Asset Management System Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior IT Service & Asset Management System Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of ITSM and ITAM solutions. You will work with Ivanti Service Manager to create scalable architectures that improve IT operations across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end implementation of ITSM and ITAM solutions, from requirements gathering to post‑implementation support.
• Architect resilient, scalable solutions that meet evolving business needs.
• Customize and configure Ivanti Service Manager to align with best practices and client requirements.
• Integrate ITSM/ITAM tools with existing infrastructure, ensuring data integrity and seamless interoperability.
• Define and enforce ITIL‑based processes for incident, change, asset, and service catalog management.
• Drive continuous improvement using automation and analytics to optimise workflows.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and foster knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to solve complex IT challenges and support strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience designing, implementing and supporting ITSM/ITAM solutions.
• Proven expertise with Ivanti Service Manager.
• ITIL Foundation v4 certification.
• Experience architecting solutions in large enterprise environments.
• Strong skills in system integration, data migration and process automation.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Leadership experience mentoring junior team members.
