Senior Purchasing Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Purchasing Specialist to manage the procurement of electrical systems and building‑finishing materials for our hospitality and tourism projects along the Red Sea coast. The role ensures that specifications are accurately defined, suppliers are selected, and orders are delivered on time while supporting cost, quality and sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute purchasing strategies for electrical and construction materials, including market analysis, price forecasting and supplier selection.
• Create and maintain material master data in SAP, generate purchase orders, and monitor order status against promised delivery dates.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing, ensure quotations are up‑to‑date, and manage standing orders for high‑consumption items.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, hotels and operators to translate technical requests into purchase specifications.
• Track key metrics, resolve discrepancies, and produce regular reports to support cost control and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum three years of procurement experience for electrical systems or building‑finishing materials in construction projects.
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical specifications.
• Strong knowledge of the local market and supplier base.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP for material creation and purchase order management.
• Ability to read and understand technical specifications of materials.
