Senior Quality Control Specialist – Construction

About the role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Senior Quality Control Specialist – Construction to provide owner‑side quality oversight for a PIF‑backed national master development in Saudi Arabia. The role combines hands‑on inspection leadership with package‑level quality management across multiple construction zones.

Key responsibilities

• Lead QC oversight for several work packages, establishing inspection priorities based on risk and construction sequencing.
• Ensure contractor compliance with approved Inspection & Test Plans, IFC and shop drawings, technical specifications, contractual quality clauses and regulatory codes.
• Act as the primary owner‑side QC authority during high‑risk activities, milestone inspections and critical non‑compliance interventions.
• Oversee verification of structural, concrete, reinforcement, waterproofing, façade, architectural finishes, and infrastructure works.
• Manage QC inspectors where assigned, monitor contractor performance, and drive defect‑prevention and NCR root‑cause strategies.
• Provide structured reporting of quality risks and performance metrics to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years (180 months) of construction quality control experience.
• Proven experience in owner‑side QC leadership on large‑scale civil or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of IFC drawings, shop drawings, specifications and relevant Saudi regulatory standards.
• Ability to mentor teams and coordinate with multidisciplinary contractors.
