Senior Software QA Engineer

About the role

IQVIA is seeking a Senior Software QA Engineer to lead the design, execution, and maintenance of both manual and automated test suites for its web‑based SaaS applications. The role focuses on ensuring high quality of UI, REST API, and non‑functional aspects across distributed systems supporting clinical research and healthcare intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, maintain and execute manual and automated test cases for sanity, regression, and end‑to‑end testing of web applications (UI and REST APIs).
• Develop automated tests using industry‑standard tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, and RestAssured.
• Report, verify, and track bugs; analyse regression runs and produce testing reports.
• Design and execute performance and scalability tests using JMeter.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure testability and quality throughout the software lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience testing distributed systems and SaaS software.
• Hands‑on experience testing Web Services or REST APIs using tools such as SoapUI or Postman.
• Experience with HL7 FHIR conformance testing is a strong plus.
