SSHE Officer – Health, Safety & Environment

About the role

The SSHE Officer will maintain a safe and healthy working environment at the Almanhal Water Factory, ensuring compliance with Nestlé’s EHS policies, ISO 45001 standards and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement all EHS policies and procedures in line with Nestlé standards.
• Conduct inspections and hazard assessments to identify risks to people, property and the environment.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, document findings, photograph scenes and prepare corrective‑action reports.
• Perform ergonomic assessments and recommend improvements to reduce workplace discomfort.
• Collaborate with staff to reduce the frequency and severity of accidental losses.
• Deliver safety training and develop emergency response plans.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 45001‑2018 and Nestlé EHS rules.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Risk Management or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in health and safety.
• SAFETY Kawader certificate (mandatory).
• OSHA, NEBOSH, HSE or OSH certification is a plus.
