Static Technician II

About the role

The Static Technician II is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of static equipment and process piping systems in an oil & gas environment. The role involves leading a team of technicians, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering work on schedule and to quality specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Receive work instructions, drawings, and specifications and execute tasks accordingly.
• Lead a team of technicians, ensuring proper tool selection and safe operation of heavy‑duty specialized tools.
• Operate basic machine tools such as grinders, power saws, drill presses, and threading machines.
• Perform installation and maintenance activities following SATORP procedures and guidelines.
• Conduct hydrostatic and pneumatic testing, obtain necessary work permits, and maintain strict safety compliance.
• Provide technical consultation to supervisors, maintain housekeeping, and report near‑misses or unsafe conditions.
• Complete jobs within quality, schedule, and company standards while attending required safety and technical training.

Required profile

• High School Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of oil & gas maintenance experience (high‑school level) or 4 years with a diploma.
• Valid certification from a recognized third‑party body or an accredited Saudi institute.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance management for oil & gas facilities.
• Well‑organized, proactive, and excellent communication skills.
