Technical Engineer – Aluminum Industry

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Engineer with a strong background in civil, architectural or mechanical engineering and at least five years of experience in the aluminum industry. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality shop, fabrication and installation drawings for curtain wall, glazing and aluminium façade projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare shop, fabrication, installation, as‑built and section detail drawings.
• Read and interpret IFC, architectural and tender drawings.
• Coordinate with structural, architectural, procurement and fabrication teams.
• Review project specifications, BOQ, and consultant comments.
• Perform material take‑offs, wind‑load calculations, quantity surveying and cost estimation.
• Prepare technical submittals, method statements and price comparisons.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the aluminium field, preferably with curtain‑wall or structural glazing projects.
• Degree in Civil, Architectural or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven ability to read IFC and architectural drawings and understand curtain‑wall/window details.
• Experience coordinating with structural and architectural disciplines.
