Project Manager – Engineering Projects

About the role

The Project Manager will lead engineering and construction projects from initiation through to closure, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and oversee risk and change management throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project schedules, resource plans, and budgets.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams and subcontractors to ensure successful delivery.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Communicate status, milestones, and updates to all stakeholders.
• Manage scope changes through proper assessment and approvals.
• Prepare accurate reports for management decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology.
• 5–7 years of experience in project management, engineering, construction, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
• Experience in process industries such as oil & gas, petrochemicals, water, or power plants.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Ability to coach, train, and work effectively with project teams.
