Transport Planner – Rail Projects

About the role

AtkinsRéalis is looking for an experienced Rail Transport Planner to join our Transport Planning and Strategic Advisory Business Unit in the Middle East. You will work on large‑scale transport master plans, traffic impact studies and multidisciplinary projects for both public and private clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver transport planning studies, including master plan assessments and traffic impact analyses.
• Perform junction analysis and travel demand modelling to support project evaluations.
• Prepare technical reports covering existing conditions, trip generation, parking assessments and recommendations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to business development activities.

Required profile

• Degree‑qualified professional with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of traffic engineering, transport planning and traffic modelling experience.
• Experience with railway operations and maintenance projects is essential.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
