A320 Captain - Saudi Arabia, Dammam

About the role

Airlines in Saudi Arabia are looking for an A320 Captain based in Dammam. The pilot flies assigned aircraft according to the Airline Operational Manual and civil aviation regulations, ensuring safety, security and efficiency on every flight, while supporting and guiding the cabin crew and handling emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Fly the assigned aircraft on schedule and approved flight plans, prioritising safety, then efficiency and passenger comfort
• Ensure flights follow the Operations Manual and regulations, and that the crew is present, fit and legally eligible
• Brief the crew on flight details and liaise with co-pilots and dispatch on aircraft status, route, weather, fuel and weight
• Use fuel efficiently within safety limits and carry out safety, security, fuel and transit checks
• Confirm aircraft airworthiness with maintenance engineers and load accurate technical logs and documents
• Keep the Operations Manual up to date and comply with civil aviation, Airbus and other regulatory requirements
• Take part in ground-based safety or security roles when asked

Required profile

• ATPL licence is mandatory, plus technical/psychometric assessment and medical fitness checks
• Minimum 4,000 flight hours with 800 hours as PIC; Airbus A320 experience preferred
• Low-cost airline experience highly desirable
• Knowledge of aircraft systems, operations, and QA/safety/security/audit procedures
• Ability to handle emergencies and heavy workloads, with strong communication and decision-making skills

Required skills

• ATPL licence and medical fitness
• Proficiency in aircraft systems and Microsoft Office
• Very good English; other local languages are an advantage
