Account Director – Events & Experiential

About the role

We are seeking an Account Director to lead our events and experiential portfolio for regional clients in Saudi Arabia. The role carries full commercial responsibility, overseeing revenue growth, profitability and long‑term client relationships while guiding a team of account and project specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Drive annual revenue targets and maintain profit margins across assigned regional accounts.
• Serve as senior contact for key regional clients, commercial partners and government entities.
• Lead end‑to‑end execution of live events, trade exhibitions, conferences and brand activations.
• Collaborate with creative, production, technical and operational teams to ensure high‑quality on‑site delivery.
• Lead strategic account reviews, pitches, tenders and commercial growth proposals.
• Provide leadership and support to account managers and project delivery teams.
• Manage budget control, variation orders and overall account profitability alongside finance teams.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of experience in the UAE or GCC events, exhibitions or experiential sector.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale live events, corporate exhibitions and government activations.
• Strong commercial background with experience handling project budgets, scope changes and financial forecasts.
• Demonstrated success in leading pitches and expanding existing accounts.
• Solid understanding of local venue rules, health and safety guidelines and production workflows.
• Leadership experience managing agency account or delivery teams.
• UAE driving licence preferred; Arabic speakers highly preferred.
