Account Director – Government (Saudi National)

About the role

FAENA The Red Sea is seeking an Account Director – Government to lead strategic relationships with government ministries, embassies, state‑owned enterprises and key national institutions across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the GCC. The role will act as a senior commercial ambassador, driving revenue from accommodation, wellness, dining and events while delivering the brand’s signature discretion and elevated service.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales strategy targeting government ministries, diplomatic missions and state‑owned entities.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior decision‑makers across KSA and GCC markets.
• Identify and secure official delegations, executive retreats, diplomatic stays and large‑scale events.
• Manage a portfolio of high‑value accounts with clear revenue targets.
• Lead negotiations for commercial agreements, partnerships and long‑term contracts.
• Coordinate site inspections, presentations and curated experiences for prospective clients.
• Collaborate with Events, Operations and Revenue teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Uphold privacy standards and readiness for high‑profile guests.
• Monitor market trends, government calendars and key events to proactively drive demand.
• Maintain accurate account plans, sales pipelines and reporting within CRM systems.
• Represent the brand at industry events, networking engagements and strategic forums.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years experience in luxury hospitality sales, government relations or high‑level account management within KSA or GCC.
• Strong existing network within government entities and institutional organisations is highly preferred.
• Experience in ultra‑luxury hospitality or similarly high‑end service environments is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
