Account Director - Healthcare Creative, Communications & Social

About the role

Are you an experienced health communications client services, senior account manager or account director ready to take ownership of high‑profile creative, communications and social campaigns? Oxygen 8 Recruitment is partnering with a leading international, independent agency to find an Account Director to join their growing team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Own client relationships at a senior level, providing strategic counsel and presenting with confidence.
• Lead, motivate and coach account teams to strengthen delivery.
• Manage accounts profitably and identify opportunities for growth.
• Oversee day‑to‑day workflow to ensure projects are delivered to a consistently high standard.
• Collaborate across creative, communications and social teams to deliver joined‑up, brilliant work.
• Act as a trusted senior point of contact, spotting and solving problems early.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior client services/account management role within a creative, communications or social agency.
• Track record of managing teams and senior client relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Arabic language capabilities are an advantage.
• Commercial awareness with a practical, results‑driven approach.
• AI‑savvy and curious, comfortable using AI platforms to support research and ways of working.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Solid IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
