Accountant – Finance & Accounting (Logistics)

About the role

HAAN Global is looking for a highly organized Accountant to join its Finance team in Jeddah. You will handle core accounting functions for a fast‑growing logistics and shipping business, ensuring accurate financial records and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions.
• Manage petty cash, bank reconciliations, and fixed‑asset accounting.
• Perform VAT reconciliation, filing, and ensure compliance with Saudi ZATCA regulations.
• Execute month‑end closing, prepare financial statements and P&L reports.
• Support ERP implementation, maintain the Chart of Accounts and improve accounting processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in logistics, shipping or freight forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi VAT and ZATCA requirements.
• Ability to work independently, meet strict monthly closing deadlines and handle pressure.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting software.
• Practical knowledge of Chart of Accounts and financial reporting structures.
