Senior Data Scientist – Card Marketing Analytics

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Data Science Consultant with deep banking analytics experience, specifically in credit and debit card portfolios. The role focuses on using advanced analytics and machine learning to boost customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and overall portfolio growth while collaborating closely with business stakeholders in a client‑facing consulting environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement predictive models, segmentation, and campaign analytics to drive card acquisition, activation, spend growth and retention.
• Validate, monitor and continuously improve machine‑learning models to ensure performance and business impact.
• Partner with Marketing, Product, Risk and Data teams to translate analytical insights into actionable strategies.
• Conduct A/B testing, uplift modeling and next‑best‑action analyses to optimize offers and increase customer lifetime value.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in data science, advanced analytics or analytics consulting, with strong banking domain expertise.
• Hands‑on experience with credit and debit card lifecycle analytics (acquisition, activation, spend, engagement, retention, attrition).
• Proven ability to work in a client‑facing consulting setting, managing stakeholders and communicating insights effectively.
• Currently based in Saudi Arabia (Jeddah preferred) and familiar with the Saudi/GCC banking sector.
