Accountant – Finance & HR Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant with solid knowledge of HR functions to support our finance and human resources operations. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting, assisting with payroll, and handling various HR administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records, invoices, payments, receipts, and ledgers.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with financial closing.
• Monitor expenses, payments, collections, and cash flow.
• Support VAT/tax compliance and audit requirements.
• Maintain proper financial documentation and records.
• Assist with payroll preparation and employee‑related financial matters.
• Support HR activities including employee records, attendance, leave, onboarding, and documentation.
• Coordinate with management on accounting and HR‑related matters.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as an Accountant.
• B.Com or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Good working knowledge of HR functions and employee administration.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Experience with accounting software/ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of payroll and employee‑related accounting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
