Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join the Finance team and report directly to the CFO. The role will handle the full spectrum of accounting activities, ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian tax regulations, and support strategic financial planning.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger, bank, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports and support month‑end closing.
• Assist the CFO with budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow analysis and financial modelling.
• Process invoices, payments, receipts and employee expenses accurately and on time.
• Ensure compliance with KSA VAT and ZATCA requirements, including VAT reconciliations and returns.
• Support ZATCA e‑invoicing compliance and maintain proper financial documentation.
• Maintain fixed‑asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Support payroll accounting and employee expense processing.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide required schedules and supporting documents.
• Uphold company financial policies, internal controls and IFRS standards.
• Assist with ERP/accounting system improvements and finance process optimisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of KSA VAT, ZATCA requirements and e‑invoicing.
• Good understanding of IFRS and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, Zoho Books or QuickBooks.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• High level of accuracy, integrity and attention to detail.
• Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA or SOCPA) is an advantage.
