Accountant

About the role

Responsible for managing day‑to‑day financial operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) functions. The role also supports monthly financial reporting, reconciliations, and cash‑flow monitoring to ensure accurate and timely financial information in line with internal policies and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions, ensuring timely payments to vendors and collections from clients, and resolve any discrepancies that arise.
• Maintain the General Ledger and journal entries, preparing and posting them promptly, including the upkeep of financial schedules.
• Assist in performing bank reconciliations and maintain inter‑company account schedules to ensure accurate balances.
• Monitor and review accounting system reports for accuracy and completeness, identifying any issues.
• Support the monthly closing procedures and assist with tax computations and the preparation of returns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
