Accounting Clerk – Accounts Receivable

About the role

Join the finance team at a prestigious luxury hotel brand and ensure the smooth operation of the Accounts Receivable function. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and the finance department to manage customer balances and support the hotel’s financial health.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute aging reports for monthly financial statements.
• Provide sales and marketing teams with customer account information.
• Process charges and credits to the City Ledger promptly and accurately.
• Verify that all transfers to the City Ledger align with control accounts.
• Prepare City Ledger adjustments for finance review and posting.
• Issue invoices, interim statements, and follow‑up letters on time.
• Reconcile accounts receivable trial balances with the General Ledger each month.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date alphabetical open accounts file for shared use.
• Ensure travel‑agent and group billing compliance with contracts.
• Initiate payment of travel‑agent commissions based on verified reports.

Required profile

• Experience in accounts receivable or related accounting functions.
• Strong knowledge of credit policies and ledger procedures.
• Ability to reconcile accounts and produce accurate aging reports.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills for interacting with internal departments and external partners.
