Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager supports the day‑to‑day execution of general‑ledger processes, ensuring accurate account balancing, ledger reconciliation, reporting and discrepancy resolution for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement accounting projects and standard‑operating‑procedure (SOP) audits across all property areas.
• Generate timely financial reports, presentations and analyses to support decision‑making.
• Balance credit‑card ledgers, verify contracts and perform credit reference checks when required.
• Maintain accurate profit and loss documentation, monitor applicable taxes and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Execute period‑end close activities and provide guidance on accounting and budgeting policies to other units.
• Uphold a strong internal control environment to safeguard assets.

Required profile

• 4‑year bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (no experience required) OR a 2‑year degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical ability to evaluate information and propose effective solutions.
• Ability to meet performance, budget and team goals and submit reports within deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers and financial spreadsheet development.
• Knowledge of general‑ledger accounting procedures, reconciliation and reporting.
