Accounting Manager – Oversee Financial Operations

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations, financial reporting, tax compliance and internal controls. The role ensures accurate financial statements, regulatory adherence and efficient cash management across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare periodic financial statements, balance sheets and final accounts in line with approved accounting principles and company policies.
• Monitor liabilities and receivables, ensuring timely collection of dues and settlement of obligations.
• Prepare tax returns (Zakat, income tax, VAT) and handle inquiries or disputes with tax authorities.
• Review and reconcile accounts receivable and payable monthly, following up on supplier payments and outstanding balances.
• Resolve discrepancies, issue debit/credit notes and assess liquidity status.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash position through regular statements.
• Conduct periodic and surprise cash audits, identify discrepancies and prepare necessary adjustments.
• Approve and post accounting entries after verification for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain organized archiving of all accounting documents and records.
