Accounts Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to lead and oversee our accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely reporting in line with IFRS and Saudi regulations. The role will be based in Saudi Arabia and will involve managing a team and coordinating with external auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing process.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS as endorsed by SOCPA.
• Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of bank, intercompany, receivable, payable and balance‑sheet accounts.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory & Cost Accounting, and Fixed Assets.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of VAT returns and the annual Zakat declaration, and compliance with e‑invoicing (Fatoora) requirements.
• Coordinate the annual external audit.
• Lead, supervise, coach, and develop the accounting team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional certification such as SOCPA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred.
• 8–10 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, with pharmaceutical industry experience considered an advantage.
• Hands‑on experience with Saudi VAT, Zakat, withholding tax, and e‑invoicing requirements.
• Practical experience with ERP financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Fluent Arabic and professional working proficiency in English.
