Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant

About the role

Red Sea International is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant to manage the full AP cycle and support the finance team across its growing modular construction operations. The role ensures accurate invoice processing, timely payments, and compliance with internal controls and tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end accounts payable, including invoice receipt, matching, verification, and payment execution.
• Reconcile supplier and vendor accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve outstanding items.
• Support month‑end close activities such as accruals, AP reporting, and account analysis.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and VAT/tax requirements.
• Coordinate with procurement, project, and treasury teams to maintain accurate and on‑schedule payments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of hands‑on accounts payable experience.
• Experience in a listed company or manufacturing/facilities environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with high‑volume, project‑driven payment environments.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of ERP systems (Dynamics 365, SAP).
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and VAT.
