Advanced Healthcare Implementation Engineer - Health Information Systems

About the role

Solventum, formerly 3M Health Care, is hiring an Advanced Healthcare Implementation Engineer for its Health Information Systems business, based remotely in Saudi Arabia. The role works with customer IT teams, EMR vendors and third-party providers to design, configure and validate integrations between Solventum solutions and customer healthcare systems. Travel may include up to 50% domestic, and candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver secure, scalable integrations between Solventum solutions and customer healthcare systems, defining, configuring, validating and troubleshooting interfaces with HL7, FHIR, APIs and other standards.
• Conduct technical discovery to understand customer environments, infrastructure, workflows and integration requirements, and turn them into practical implementation approaches.
• Configure Solventum solutions to meet customer operational and clinical needs, following best practices and ensuring long-term maintainability.
• Lead technical validation, support testing, defect investigation, issue resolution and deployment readiness for customer go-lives.
• Act as escalation point for technical issues, diagnose root causes, implement fixes and share implementation knowledge and lessons learned with support, engineering, product management and implementation teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience implementing, integrating, supporting or delivering healthcare technology solutions, including healthcare interoperability standards, customer technical stakeholders or healthcare information systems in a private, public, government or military environment.
• Experience implementing enterprise software in healthcare environments.
• Professional working proficiency in Arabic, and experience working with customer IT teams, technical stakeholders and third-party vendors.
• Knowledge of healthcare data privacy, security and regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), Altera or Meditech.
• Interface engines, integration platforms, SaaS and cloud-hosted solutions, networking fundamentals or identity management concepts.
• Healthcare interoperability standards: HL7 v2.x, FHIR, APIs and data exchange workflows.
• Root cause analysis, documentation of implementation knowledge and strong written and verbal communication.
