ALM & Market Risk Specialist – 6‑12 month contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced ALM & Market Risk specialist to join our team in Saudi Arabia on a 6‑to‑12‑month contract. The role focuses on managing interest‑rate and liquidity risks in the banking book, ensuring compliance with Basel and SAMA regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead IRRBB governance and modeling, measuring EVE and NII sensitivities.
• Design and execute the ILAAP framework, establishing liquidity buffers and governance.
• Develop and maintain multi‑curve FTP methodologies for cost allocation.
• Design and run multi‑horizon liquidity stress tests to optimise LCR and NSFR.
• Create Recovery and Resolution Planning playbooks, triggers and escalation procedures.
• Ensure adherence to SAMA prudential regulations and macro‑prudential mandates.
• Build risk‑adjusted pricing models integrating credit risk, capital costs and behavioural assumptions.
• Manage ALM strategy and balance‑sheet optimisation, including hedging and margin protection.
• Integrate and operate treasury analytics and ALM risk systems such as QRM, Kondor or Misys.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in ALM, market risk and liquidity risk management.
• Deep knowledge of Basel and SAMA regulatory frameworks.
• Proven track record in ILAAP, IRRBB, FTP and RRP implementation.
• Hands‑on experience with treasury/ALM systems (QRM, Kondor, Misys).
• Ability to work onsite in Saudi Arabia on a contractual basis.
