Analyzer Technician Specialist (Oil & Gas)

About the role

Eram Talent is recruiting an Analyzer Technician Specialist for an organization in Saudi Arabia, working on site in the Oil & Energy sector. The specialist maintains and optimizes analytical instrumentation used across industrial processes, and mentors junior technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and calibrate analytical instruments such as gas chromatographs, total sulfur analyzers and moisture analyzers.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and troubleshoot analyzer issues to minimize downtime.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules based on manufacturer specifications and best practice.
• Interpret technical documentation such as data sheets, vendor manuals and schematic diagrams.
• Take part in safety audits and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and operations staff.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and performance metrics.
• Work with engineering, operations and quality assurance teams to resolve technical issues.
• Stay up to date with advances in analytical instrumentation.

Required profile

• Associate degree or technical diploma in Instrumentation, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as an Analyzer Technician in the Oil & Energy industry.
• Knowledge of analytical instruments such as gas chromatographs, moisture analyzers and spectroscopy equipment.
