Applications Senior Engineer

About the role

Elsewedy Electric is seeking an Applications Senior Engineer to support and enhance its Oracle Manufacturing and SCM solutions. You will act as the functional bridge between business users and the technical team, ensuring the system runs smoothly and aligns with operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day functional support for Oracle Manufacturing and SCM modules.
• Configure system settings, maintain master data, and assist with data migrations.
• Participate in CRP, SIT, UAT cycles and deliver end‑user training.
• Troubleshoot issues, manage incidents, and coordinate with Oracle Support to resolve service requests.
• Gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and design functional solutions.
• Support testing of integrations, reports, and system enhancements.
• Prepare functional documentation and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience with Oracle SCM and Manufacturing modules.
• Strong analytical abilities and a customer‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Oracle E‑Business Suite (SCM & Manufacturing) functional knowledge.
• SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Proficiency with reporting tools.
• Advanced MS Excel and Microsoft Office Suite skills.
• Familiarity with Linux operating environments.
