Architect of Record Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Architect of Record Specialist to ensure design compliance and regulatory alignment across complex architectural, infrastructure, and urban development projects. The role involves managing technical documentation, coordinating with authorities, and supporting project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the Architect of Record for assigned projects, guaranteeing compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documents for accuracy and code adherence.
• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, contractors, and authorities having jurisdiction.
• Manage permit submissions, approvals, and related regulatory documentation.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and design modifications.
• Maintain up‑to‑date project documentation across all phases.
• Support project teams in resolving design and compliance issues.
• Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and coordination workshops.
• Monitor contractual and regulatory compliance throughout the project.
• Prepare technical reports and project correspondence as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural design, technical coordination, or Architect of Record functions.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
