Architectural Site Supervisor

About the role

UMQ Design is looking for an experienced Architectural Site Supervisor to lead on‑site architectural and interior fit‑out works across Saudi Arabia. You will ensure that all activities follow approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project schedules while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily architectural and interior fit‑out works on‑site.
• Verify that work complies with approved shop drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate daily activities with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, subcontractors and other disciplines.
• Monitor the quality of finishes such as gypsum works, ceilings, partitions, flooring, wall finishes, joinery, painting and decorative elements.
• Inspect completed work before client or consultant inspections.
• Track manpower productivity and ensure progress aligns with the approved schedule.
• Manage material deliveries and confirm compliance with approved submittals.
• Identify site issues and work with the engineering team to resolve technical challenges.
• Ensure adherence to Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements and company policies.
• Prepare daily progress updates and report to the Project Engineer or Project Manager.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience supervising architectural finishing works on commercial, hospitality, office or retail projects.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings, as well as material specifications.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, finishing materials and fit‑out execution.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and site safety requirements.
• Excellent communication, coordination and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with AutoCAD (advantage).
