Area Maintenance Head (Refinery)

About the role

KBR is looking for an Area Maintenance Head to support plant maintenance activities for a refinery project in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures that daily corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance of mechanical, I/E and rotating equipment is carried out in line with safety, environmental and quality rules, so that the plant stays available, reliable and running continuously.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out all maintenance jobs assigned across all disciplines
• Report maintenance execution regularly in the CMMS system
• Support planning, scheduling and other support supervisors
• Prepare a weekly report and take part in the maintenance meeting
• Take part in developing area strategic plans aligned with safety and quality standards
• Follow up all safety requirements during job execution

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in refinery or petrochemical plant maintenance
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, with a strong background in mechanical, electrical or instrumentation
• Fluent writing and reading English

Required skills

• Good knowledge of SAP
• Fair knowledge of plant process operations
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance execution, planning, reliability, quality, people management and HSE requirements
