Area Sales Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead our field sales team in Jeddah. You will be responsible for achieving sales and distribution targets, building strong customer relationships, and executing commercial strategies to grow market share.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the area’s sales plan aligned with corporate objectives.
• Lead and supervise Supervisors, Van Salesmen and Merchandisers, set targets and monitor performance.
• Plan van sales routes, oversee stock loading, cash collection and policy compliance.
• Ensure product availability, visibility and merchandising standards across outlets.
• Analyse sales data, track competitor activity and prepare regular performance reports.
• Manage the area’s operating budget, control expenses and coordinate with marketing, supply chain and logistics.
• Train, coach and develop the field team to improve performance.
• Follow up on customer and distributor collections, ensuring credit terms are met.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multi‑level sales teams in a consumer‑goods environment.
• Strong leadership and relationship‑building abilities.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Good understanding of sales budgeting and expense control.
