Area Sales Manager – Pharmacy Automation (Dammam)

About the role

The Area Sales Manager, Pharmacy Automation (PA) will lead growth of BD’s PA portfolio across the Eastern Region, based in Dammam. You will execute commercial strategy, manage key accounts and develop a high‑performing sales team while ensuring compliance with BD’s ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales revenue and profitable growth for the PA portfolio in the Eastern region.
• Develop and execute territory and account strategies to increase market and category share.
• Lead, coach and support the sales team to meet performance objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with decision‑makers, influencers and clinical/non‑clinical stakeholders.
• Engage with Key Opinion Leaders, local societies and strategic partners.
• Implement market‑development initiatives, including new product launches.
• Ensure effective product positioning, detailing and value communication.
• Oversee product training for internal teams and external partners.
• Provide clinical education and technical support to healthcare professionals.
• Comply with BD’s commercial excellence framework, processes and SFDC requirements.
• Maintain full compliance with ethical, regulatory and business conduct standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in medical, healthcare or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of sales experience in the medical devices industry, preferably with Pharmacy Automation.
• Prior experience in area sales management, team leadership or senior sales roles.
