Assistant Director of Food & Beverage

About the role

The Assistant Director of Food & Beverage will support the department’s business and marketing functions, ensuring efficient operations across all outlets and banquets in line with Hyatt’s brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing the Food & Beverage department to meet corporate strategies and brand standards.
• Act as Assistant Business Manager and Assistant Marketing Specialist for the department.
• Oversee the performance and profitability of restaurants, bars, and banquet operations.
• Ensure guest, employee, and owner expectations are consistently met.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar Assistant Director or senior Food & Beverage role.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Extensive knowledge of food and beverage operations.
• Customer‑focused with a passion for hospitality.
• Flexibility, multitasking, and problem‑solving skills.
• Financial management and commercial awareness.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Conflict‑resolution capability.
• Preferably a university degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management.
