Assistant Front Desk Manager

About the role

The new Four Seasons Resort and Residences Red Sea at Shura Island, Saudi Arabia, is being built as a luxury beachside destination with about 149 rooms and suites, six restaurant and lounge outlets, a marine discovery centre, tennis courts, pools and two beaches. The Assistant Front Desk Manager supervises the Front Desk team and supports the Front Office Manager in daily operations, preparing for the resort's opening.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the Front Desk team to ensure smooth and efficient guest check-in and check-out.
• Support the Front Office Manager with daily operations, scheduling, team development and service standards.
• Resolve guest concerns and requests promptly, and record and communicate guest preferences and special requests across departments.
• Oversee training and mentoring of Guest Services Agents and support team members in their daily duties.
• Assist in developing front desk procedures and systems in preparation for the resort opening.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Concierge, Guest Experience and other departments for a seamless guest journey.
• Handle VIP arrivals and special occasions with personalized attention.
• Monitor guest satisfaction scores and help improve them.

Required profile

• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role at the Front Desk in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Hospitality Management.
• At least 2 years' experience in a 5-star hotel or resort Front Office.
• Pre-opening experience is an advantage.
• Fluency in English and Arabic, with strong reading, writing and oral skills.
• Locals only, as per Saudi labour law.

• Strong working knowledge of hotel property management systems.
