Assistant Manager – Accounting & Reporting Advisory (Audit & Assurance)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Assistant Manager to join its Audit & Assurance – Accounting and Reporting Advisory (ARA) practice in Riyadh. You will support client engagements, contribute to proposals, and help deliver high‑quality technical advice on IFRS and local GAAP matters.

Key responsibilities

• Research technical issues under IFRS and local GAAP and prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Develop client proposals, including scope of work and project budgets.
• Collaborate with managers, senior managers, partners and clients to shape strategy and manage risk.
• Draft revenue‑recognition and leasing accounting policies for diverse clients.
• Lead engagements for the preparation of financial statements under IFRS and local GAAP.
• Deliver training on the impact of new accounting standards.
• Participate in project planning, strategy definition and international project management.
• Manage complex accounting advice, financial‑statement reviews, IFRS impact assessments and technical accounting memoranda.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of IFRS and local GAAP frameworks.
• Experience preparing financial statements and accounting policies.
• Ability to lead engagement teams and communicate technical concepts to clients.
• Proactive approach to project planning and risk management.
