Assistant Manager – Audit & Assurance (Financial Services) – Riyadh

About the role

The Assistant Manager will join Deloitte's Financial Services audit team in Riyadh, supporting audit engagements for insurance and other financial institutions. You will be responsible for coordinating audit activities, applying professional skepticism, and leveraging AI tools to enhance audit quality.

Key responsibilities

• Understand key statistics and prior year financial statements before each engagement.
• Coordinate with management, experts and specialists to meet deliverable deadlines.
• Track findings, follow‑up on work performed by team members, and ensure appropriate sign‑offs.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, identifying audit priorities early in the cycle.
• Prepare documentation that anticipates reviewer questions, referencing authoritative literature and professional judgments.
• Apply AI in the audit context, using firm‑approved tools while exercising professional scepticism on AI‑generated outputs.

Required profile

• 5+ years of auditing experience in a leading professional services firm or large multinational, preferably with an insurance background.
• Degree in Accounting or related field; CPA, SOCPA or equivalent qualification.
• Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus) and demonstrated commitment to continuous learning.
