About the role
The Assistant Manager – Human Resources supports daily HR operations, including recruitment, compensation, and employee development. This role ensures HR services meet employee needs while complying with applicable laws and company procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in recruiting and hiring HR team members, attend job fairs, and maintain relationships with external recruitment sources.
- Support unemployment claim processes, review provider reports, and attend hearings as needed.
- Coordinate new‑hire orientation, cross‑training, and departmental training programs to ensure a positive onboarding experience.
- Maintain employee communication channels, prepare daily communications, and help organize property‑wide meetings.
- Review progressive discipline documentation for accuracy and consistency.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of HR or related experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
