Assistant Manager – Reservations

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Reservations supports the solicitation and management of reservation sales opportunities for a Le Méridien property in Medina. The role drives revenue by up‑selling, achieving personal and team targets, and delivering exceptional service throughout the guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and close new reservation sales opportunities, monitor market trends, and adjust pricing to maximize room revenue and occupancy.
• Respond to inbound sales inquiries, negotiate contracts, generate proposals, and ensure accurate entry of reservations in tracking systems.
• Provide outstanding customer service, handle guest complaints, and build loyalty by understanding client needs and recommending appropriate services.
• Manage wait‑list priorities, process no‑show charges, and prepare work and maintenance orders as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, guest services, or front‑desk roles, or a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to achieve revenue goals, negotiate contracts, and deliver service excellence in a hospitality environment.
