Assistant Outlet Manager

About the role

Join Swissôtel Al Maqam, a five‑star hotel in the prestigious Abraj Al Bait complex near the Holy Masjid Al Haram. Reporting to the Outlet Manager, you will support daily operations of a dining outlet, ensuring high service standards and a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Outlet Manager in preparing the outlet for service, including table setup, buffet presentation, cleanliness, equipment checks and staff readiness.
• Supervise the team during service, monitor flow, coordinate with Kitchen and Stewarding, and resolve operational issues within your authority.
• Conduct daily briefings, train and coach staff, ensure compliance with attendance, uniform, grooming and hygiene standards.
• Handle guest interactions, address complaints, record feedback through hotel systems and ensure special requests are communicated correctly.
• Maintain hygiene, safety and quality standards, report equipment or safety concerns, and follow up on maintenance requests.
• Control costs by monitoring waste, ensuring proper use of supplies and accurate POS processing of orders, payments, discounts and complimentary items.
