Associate Design Director – High‑Rise Development

About the role

The Associate Design Director will lead the design effort for a major high‑rise development in Jeddah. Reporting to senior leadership, the role coordinates multidisciplinary teams, consultants and contractors to ensure the project’s design vision is delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the overall design process for a large‑scale, complex development.
• Manage relationships with consultants, contractors, stakeholders and internal delivery teams.
• Oversee design programmes, technical reviews and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and project specifications.
• Drive design quality, innovation and value engineering throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering major, large‑scale projects, preferably high‑rise or complex commercial developments.
• Strong design management and multidisciplinary coordination background.
• Demonstrated ability to manage consultants and lead technical reviews.
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Experience working in Saudi Arabia or the broader Middle East is advantageous.
