Associate Manager, Demand & Supply Planning

About the role

Lead bottom‑up consensus demand planning for assigned categories within the Jeddah cluster, aligning commercial and operational stakeholders to ensure product availability, optimal inventory and service level targets. The role supports cluster growth and market‑share expansion through efficient end‑to‑end planning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead MBPC meetings to produce a 18‑month consensus demand plan aligned with cluster, category and channel dynamics.
• Use sell‑out and IMS data to build demand forecasts by category, district and SKU while respecting stock‑cover policies.
• Run advanced price‑elasticity simulations in partnership with commercial teams to model multi‑scenario volume impacts.
• Collaborate with district sales managers to analyse second‑tier wholesalers and improve forecast accuracy.
• Develop baseline demand forecasts for new product launches and promotions, incorporating market size and competitor insights.
• Create PIPO end‑to‑end plans to prevent out‑of‑stock or overstock situations based on demand and supply alerts.
• Coordinate with sales support to assess landing impacts on replenishment and full‑year sales.
• Ensure timely supply with appropriate freshness by working with clearance, supply planners, logistics and other functions.
• Drive bad‑goods reduction through MSR meetings and align action plans with finance and stakeholders.
• Monitor KPIs such as OG%, tonnage growth, bias, COF and stock cover to improve service level and accuracy.
• Maintain a DPA learning log to communicate forecast deviations and reasons to the cluster and analytical hub.
• Govern monthly pallet projections with warehouse and logistics teams to secure space and manage demand fluctuations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in demand planning.
• Food & Beverage background is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
