Associate Technical Professional - Instrumentation/Controls

About the role

Under direct supervision, the Associate Technical Professional will evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques in instrumentation and controls. This junior position offers the opportunity to contribute to design tasks while gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced engineering environment.

Key responsibilities

• Apply standard engineering procedures and criteria to instrumentation and control projects.
• Make minor adaptations and modifications using sound engineering judgment.
• Assist in the design of larger, more complex assignments, including plans, investigations, and surveys.
• Support activities that indirectly influence cost containment, efficiency, and operational profitability.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering.
• Ability to work under direct supervision while exercising independent judgment on routine tasks.
• Interest in developing expertise within the instrumentation and controls functional area.

Required skills

• Fundamental knowledge of instrumentation engineering.
• Basic understanding of control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and technical documents.
