Audit Specialist

About the role

The Audit Specialist will help shape STC’s regulatory environment, monitor international economic and technological trends, and provide recommendations to strengthen the company’s market position, products and services. The role also supports STC’s lobbying activities with the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC).

Key responsibilities

• Review internal policies and processes to ensure compliance with applicable rules and prevent violations.
• Contribute to the regulatory risk identification cycle together with the Regulatory Planning team.
• Assess regulatory risks and develop mitigation plans with business units.
• Monitor the execution of mitigation plans and proactively reduce non‑compliance risk.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management on regulatory compliance progress.
• Analyse root causes of non‑compliance and implement corrective actions.
• Design and deliver communication and training programs on regulatory topics.
• Identify opportunities to influence regulations that could affect STC.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or Business Administration.
• Master’s degree in Law or Business Administration.
• 4‑6 years of relevant audit or regulatory compliance experience.

• Proficiency with relevant software tools.
• Strong data collection and analysis capabilities.
• Ability to design and produce compliance reports.
• Solid computer literacy.
• Deductive and inductive reasoning with effective presentation skills.
